CHRISTMAS TREE SALES 2010
The proceeds go to the troops for Boy Scouting related costs e.g. scholarships to summer camps, activity related equipment etc. The Scouts on duty at the lot will help buyers choose and load their selected trees. In addition, the lot will be a collection site for donations of food for needy Yolo County families (STEAC.)
Lot hours are 1PM to 9PM on weekdays , 9AM to 9PM on Saturdays
and 1PM to 7PM on Sundays
EXTRA: In 2009, DHS Madrigals sang Holiday Songs (click video below for a sample).
A Scouting tradition in Davis gives people getting
their Christmas trees the opportunity to help a good cause.
Boy Scouts in Davis (Boy Scout Troops 66, 111, 139, 199, 466 and Venture Crews 66 & 111 ) will stand outside in all kinds of weather beginning 11:00 AM Friday, November 26th, 2010 and sell Noble Fir and Douglas Fir trees at the corner of 8th and Pole Line (across from the Davis Cemetery... see below for exact location & to get directions)
